Seriously, if anyone can tell me how to get my Kindle to type and space the headline right-to-left, I'd appreciate it. I saved, rebooted, retried. Nope. Is the all-caps acronym messing it up?
On to other crap...I'm gone tonight because the de facto in-laws are having Christmas. Actual Christmas was icy and a major FP. We stayed home. So, Christmas in July, when no one could kill themselves on icy roads trying to get there. Excellent idea! But I thought it was next week, so I said I'd write tonight, creating a new FP. Right now I'm probably in a tent without wi-fi. JeffW is guest hosting my pre-written diary (thanks again, Jeff!). I hope to get back to it within 24 hours.
And searching the knowledge base for uploading a photo from Flickr yields an article with two unsupported viewable plug-ins and one 404 error. No pix 2day. Damn it.
Our refrigerator has been out for eight days now. We're getting by with a mini fridge for necessities like the cat's insulin, the roommate's beverages, and my dairy. I'm eating our couple dozen eggs as fast as I can so they don't rot at room temperature. Roommate's cottage cheese froze, and now the texture grosses him out too much for him to eat it. There isn't enough room in there for a tall jug of limeade, which will be annoying when it gets really hot next week. New refrigerators are too deep for our kitchenette (about 6' x 9' with maybe 3' floor space). I'm hoping I can find a repairperson.
Now that I don't have a full refrigerator, am I poor enough for you, GOP? Will you stop begrudging me each and every fucking cent I get in aid? Do I have to get food poisoning to prove my neediness?
